ACCESSING THE BOSS DOOR
After completing the Sacred Realm, you’ll find a large raven waiting for you at the end of the dungeon. This is the entrance to the final boss fight, Mugryph. To access the boss door, you need to use the newly acquired Echoes of Wisdom to defeat the large avian boss at the end of the dungeon.
BOSS: MUGRYPH
Mugryph is a hybrid of a moke and a raptor, swimming through the sand and attacking from below. It will initially use its sand wave attack and then charge at you with increased speed. To defeat Mugryph, you’ll need to move its four animal statues to the center of the arena, then lure it into destroying one of them. The statue will break, and Mugryph will become shaken, allowing you to summon a Monster Hero and use the Sword Fighter mode. Repeat this process 2-3 times to complete the first phase.
PHASE 2
After dealing sufficient damage, Mugryph will retreat and change the floor to a sandy beach with four normal sand islands. It will summon a tornado from the sand, which will continue until you take a short break. After it completes its attack, it will return to the sand and prepare its next charge attack. Place the animal statues along its path to make it destroy them, forcing it to pause, and then summon another Monster Hero to take advantage of the Sword Fighter mode.
REWARDS
Defeating both phases will reward you with a full Heart Container, a level 4 Triaster upgrade, and five pieces of Might Crystals. With this, you’ll be able to summon more high-level monsters with fewer energy requirements.
