Abyss Mage Quest: Unveiling the Secrets of Stormterror
Story Progression:
After completing the Prologue: Act III, Dragon and Freedom’s Song, you will unlock the Abyss Mage subquest. This quest takes place in Mondstadt’s wine cellar, known as Dawn Winery. To start the quest, you will need to meet the requirements listed below:
- Completed Prologue: Act II, Tears of the Future
- Adventurer Level: 15
- Location: Dawn Winery
Objectives:
- Meet Dirick at the wine cellar
- Talk to Dirick
- Defeat the enemies that appear
- Talk to Venti
Quest Overview:
Dirick, an acquaintance of Venti, informs you that the Abyss Mage has been following Stormterror’s trail and may be nearby. To stop them, you must first meet with Dirick at the wine cellar. Once you’ve arrived, head to the western side of the building and find Dirick, who will be accompanied by Venti and Jean. Converse with Dirick and gain insight into the situation.
After that, you’ll need to defeat the Abyss Mage’s allies, who will appear suddenly. As you fight, pay attention to the teleportation waypoints in the area, and remember to unlock them as you progress. The fight will become more challenging as you progress through the area.
Upon defeating the enemies, a cutscene will trigger, during which Venti will reveal the hidden secrets of the Abyss Mage and the location of Stormterror. Following this conversation, the Abyss Mage’s subquest will be complete.
