Objective:
- Talk to Iris
- Investigate the strange ice
- Continue the investigation by climbing up
- Find the camp and ask for a hint about the unusual air flow
- Unfreeze all the fragments (3)
- Find the path to the top of the mountain
- Reach the summit of Dragonspine
- Unfreeze all the fragments again
- Investigate the area again
- Report to Iris
Iris and the conversation
Iris is located in the northern boundary of Dragonspine. She will talk about the strange ice and ask for your help to investigate.
Investigating the strange ice
Go south into Dragonspine and you will encounter a large ice peak. Approach it and you will see a strange blue device. Try to interact with it, but it will not respond.
Unfreezing the device
To unfreeze the device, you need to use Scarlet Quartz. Break the red node to obtain it. Repeat this process four times to unfreeze the device.
Climbing up
After unfreezing the device, climb up to the next area. You will see a ramp on the left side of the screen. Take the ramp and continue climbing up.
Fighting Lawachurl
At the top of the ramp, you will encounter Lawachurl. Defeat it to obtain a Warm Seelie.
Chasing the Seelie
Take the Warm Seelie and chase it to the top of the mountain. You will see a totem on the way. Interact with it to start the wind current.
Breaking the fragments
Continue chasing the Seelie and you will encounter three fragments. Break each fragment using Scarlet Quartz.
Final conversation with Iris
After breaking the final fragment, return to the camp and talk to Iris. Choose the option "About the Summit…" to continue the quest.
