Seven-Star Water-Type Pikachu
A special event series, part of the "Scarlet & Violet" series, has been announced. For a limited time, from July 25th, 2024, at 4:59 PM (PDT), players can challenge a seven-star water-type Pikachu.
Pikachu’s Teratype
Pikachu has become a water-type, losing its vulnerability to ground-type moves. However, it now has a weakness to electric-type moves. This Pikachu is not like the previous seven-star raid events, as it immediately generates a Terra Shield, covering its HP, and then uses Rain Dance, striking all opponents with a massive wave.
Nature – Quiet
Pikachu has a quiet nature, sacrificing speed for increased attack power. While it may not be as fast as other Pokémon, its attack power is formidable.
Ability – Lightning Rod
This ability allows Pikachu to absorb electric-type moves and boost its attack power by one stage. Be cautious when using electric-type moves or pairing with electric-type Pokémon.
Held Item – Light Ball
The Light Ball is a special item designed for Pikachu. When held, it increases Pikachu’s attack and special attack power by two stages. Other Pokémon may not benefit from this item, but wild Pikachu have a 5% chance to hold it.
Moves
Pikachu starts with Rain Dance and Surf, followed by a one-two punch. Rain Dance boosts the power of water-type moves and weakens fire-type moves. Surf strikes all opponents with a massive wave.
Best Counter Strategies
To counter this Pikachu, focus on using grass-type Pokémon. Weather conditions, such as sunny skies, can be beneficial, as they boost the power of grass-type moves. Remove the Light Ball using Knock Out, and concentrate on increasing your own Pokémon’s stats rather than trying to lower Pikachu’s.
